Dear Arnold,
It seems there is nothing you haven't done! But, have you considered being a German teacher? I think you would make the coolest German teacher. I took the language for 7 years. I bet you would make it fun and interesting. What do you think?
David
Dear David,
I haven't considered being a German teacher, but I have had the opportunity to teach kids. Check THIS out. I have a lot of respect and admiration for educators. They have chosen a very difficult, yet rewarding profession.
I know if I were a teacher, I would want my kids to have fun while they learned. But I do think though, that if my students misbehaved, I could come in dressed as the Terminator, and they might quiet down. :-)
Great question!
Arnold
Arnold,
You are my favorite actor and I always look forward to your new films with great excitement. I am especially looking forward to T3.
I would like to know how much creative input you have in your films, or do you just leave it all to the director?
Nightsleep
P.S. Good luck with the After Schools Initiative; it's a great idea.
Dear "Nightsleep"
Thanks for your support. :-)
My answer to your question depends a lot on the director. When James Cameron and I worked on the Terminator films, we worked a lot together on ideas. He would ask me what I thought about a particular scene, and I was all too happy to give him my ideas.
Most directors I work with know me, so things usually work out just fine, because they have a good understanding of what I as an actor would like to do with a character.
As a director myself, I appreciate the input of my actors, because, after all, they are the people who are closest to the character.
Thanks for your interesting question,
Arnold
P.S. Great name!
Dear Arnie,
I can't wait for T3. I've seen the first pictures. In all of the characters you've played, which one could you relate to the most?
Thanks,
(#1 Fan) LEE
Dear LEE,
I think I can relate to just about every character on some level.
I can relate to Harry Tasker a lot, because he has a beautiful wife, and he goes off to a big important job, the only difference there is that Maria knows what I do for a living.
I can also relate to Howard Langston from "Jingle All The Way" very much. The action in that movie all came about because a normal dad had to get this particular toy for his kid. As a parent, I totally understand his journey, and what he felt as he tried to get that toy.
Thanks for your question,
