GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER WELCOMES NEW ASSEMBLY SPEAKER FABIAN NÚÑEZ

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger released the following statement regarding Assemblyman Fabian Núñez's swearing in as Speaker of the Assembly.

"I look forward to building a strong and successful relationship with Speaker Núñez. We share a common cause in bringing back economic vitality to this great state by restoring fiscal order, enhancing job and trade opportunities, and protecting California's precious natural resources. His immigrant roots and achievements are clear indications he embraces hard work and is up to the task at hand. Though Fabian and I have worked together for only a few months, he has proven to me that he is a man of honesty and integrity," said Governor Schwarzenegger.
