I caught Arnold’s film “Last Action Hero” a few weeks back on TV where Arnold plays the role of a film star. There is a boy who works in a cinema-hall. From an old man who runs the projector in the cinema-hall, the boy gets a magic ticket through which he enters the screen of the movie where Arnold is the main character and the boy enters the world of movies. He gets to be the friend of Arnold whom he used to admire very much in his real life. The boy gets to be a part of the movie.

The boy brings Arnold from the movies to the real world. Arnold cannot adjust to the real world due to his film antics and his behavior as a tough movie star in movies since real world is very different from the reel world. Arnold keeps on making mistakes.

There is also the villain of the movie who gets access to the magic ticket and comes into the real world and brings all the villains of the different films into the real world as well.

In the end the boy restores and sends back Arnold back into the imaginary world of movies with the help of another magic ticket after he sustains severe injuries and was on the brink of losing his life.

I watched Arnold’s movie End Of Days on TV on Star Movies. It is a movie of the other-world. The world of paranormal, sinister and dark occurrences are captured with a lot of imagination. The story is of the devil coming to the earth and seeking for a chosen one, a girl, who will bear him an evil child to corrupt the world. The lady has been having imaginary illusions and hallucinations throughout her life.

Arnold plays Jericho Cane, a haggard man, who has lost all hope after he loses his wife and daughter.. But he is still a very strong man who will not succumb to any temptations however hard he is provoked. He is surrounded by evil all around him but he still fights on valiantly trying to protect the lady from being harmed.

Some scenes of the film is too frightening and horrible like in the beginning when a priest dies after cutting his tongue. The caretaker of Christine York who is an evil woman. The fight on the streets at night when Arnold is surrounded by all the evil men and women who pound upon him and crucify him. The train sequence where Arnold performs some incredible action and stunts in the underground train. In the end inside the church Arnold sacrifices himself after the soul of devil enters in his body.

Arnold’s appearances and mannerisms in this movie is that of a brooding, experienced, strong, earthy, vulnerable veteran who has gone through a lot of misshapen in his life.

Jericho Cane is a real likable and emotional character who strikes a chord in the heart.

I watched Arnold’s movie The 6th Day on TV on UTV Action channel. The movie is about the subject of cloning - its consequences and repercussions.

One day when Arnold returns to his home after buying a speaking doll for his girl child he finds that his clone has replaced him in his house. He decides to report this to his friend and then together they spy in at Arnold’s home to see that his clone is still in his house.

What turns out later is a mad and dangerous turn of events where Arnold discovers that there are many people who are getting cloned after their deaths and coming back into existence. There are latest technology lab where scientists and powerful people are involved in the profession of cloning which leads Arnold to discover their secrets. Arnold’s clone turns out to be a good guy who fights for Arnold and together they both demolish and put an end to the this business of cloning.

The movie is very futuristic and is a science fiction movie. There is a double role of Arnold and both the Arnold’s are really a new experience to watch. Arnold had played a double role in the movie Last Action Hero too but that was for a brief period. But in this film The 6th Day it is really a complex plot and very very futuristic.

There is a great view of Arnold flying in his helicopter over the snow capped mountains and gorges all the time also controlling another helicopter with his right hand remote control. It was a very modern type of film.

Arnold has put in two great performances one as a clone and one as himself. However it is all very confusing because when I thought that it is the original Arnold the chief scientist says that it was his clone. So the story is difficult to follow. However there is a lot of excitement. It is a new experience.

I also watched the Arnold film Eraser where Arnold plays an US Marshall John Kruger who provides security for victim protection. It is all about the weapon’s trade which is being illegally traded and huge amount of conspiracy is involved with people in high places. Arnold is helped by those whose identities are erased and planted into new surroundings and environments with a new identity.

There is a diving from the plane in the sky and Arnold falls in the sky suspended and unable to open his parachute and falls and falls in the last moment onto a van in the countryside.

Arnold is a US Marshall who works alone since he trusts nobody. Men in the US Marshall are also involved in the guns illegal trade. Arnold is helped by his clients whose identities have been erased and are positioned in new places who feels grateful to Arnold since they have been protected by Arnold.

Arnold has put in a strong acting performance with his characteristic style. It is a very fast paced film with lots of action. The treatment of the film is absolutely slick and very contemporary.

I watched Arnold’s movie True Lies where he played Harry Tasker, a guy who is a spy but his wife knows him as a salesman. Since he doesn’t spend much time with his family his wife enters into an extra-marital relationship with a guy called Simon who fakes that he is a spy but is actually a car salesman. Arnold comes to know about his wife’s affair and is shattered. With the help of his colleague Arnold keeps himself up to date about his wife’s escapades.

In the meantime he is also tracking a case of terrorists who threaten to blow up cities of US after capturing Arnold and his wife. Arnold fights his way out against the terrorists and saves his wife as well as daughter from being harmed by the terrorists.

It is an immensely true-to-life story with some great action and is directed by the great director James Cameron who had directed Arnold in the films : The Terminator and also in Terminator—Judgment Day.
